Head elements in my pictures are my characters and the world I have created for them. My characters have their personalities, thoughts, dreams, fears, and problems. Somebody goes for a journey, faces all kind of things in their path and finally finds what they are looking for or continue the journey. And then there are some, who are happy to be settled down where they are. The world is like a dream-like paradise. It is true but not entirely. It also has a darker side. Darkness can be scary to some, but at the same time, it can be as beautiful as light and happiness. These opposite things complete each other. They cross their boundaries all the time and those boundaries can be indeterminate. Stories are passing in my mind. Alongside visual creating, I also write my thoughts and stories down. I write short texts, plans, or poems. I also have started writing a longer story. I bring messages into my art, which can be found or not. Some things are possible let to be just mysteries and give more space to other interpretations. Not revealing too much and give a chance to a viewer to think by themselves what this picture represents. The purpose of my art pieces is to enjoy them, letting imagination flow freely, happy feelings of searching and discovering, and of course the escape from reality.. for a little while at least. My techniques are watercolors, ink, and colored pencils. I like the versatility between these techniques. I can easily mix them. My painting and drawing materials are paper and canvas (Cotton Duck). Both materials are good and offer many interesting possibilities for different executions. My style has been portrayed as illustrative which I feel positive about. My art has illustrative elements and I want represent it. I also knit and sew dolls, which are my characters. This technique is a nice plus for visual creating. When I make dolls of my characters, they become more alive. I see myself continuing with fantastical themed works and also doing illustration job. I want to create pictures for the stories and create my very own book.
